Greetings, beauty enthusiasts! (Well, I’m assuming if you made it here, you might be). I’m certainly not, by any means – but I want to share how easy-peasy these lashes were!
I’m officially one day post-Drake concert here in Los Angeles. Admittedly, I am absolutely NOT a beauty guru myself…so when I stumbled upon these magnetic lashes by Eylure, I thought I had found the fix to all my problems. And I think I have!
If you’re a fan of effortless glam and fuss-free allure, you’re in for treat with these. It took me all of 34 years but I finally felt adventurous enough to try lashes for maybe the fifth time in my life, and I stumbled across some lashes that made it super easy for me to apply! The Eylure Magnetic Lash experience left me giddy with happiness that I finally have found a quick enough option for a makeup n00b like myself.
First and foremost, let’s talk staying power – because these lashes held up like champs! Major win, right? I opted for the 5-magnet version, perfect for a short-duration event like the Drake concert this past Sunday. My goal was a solid 4-5 hours of flawless fluttering lids, and these lashes delivered without a hitch. Although, if I had to go a little longer with these on…I would probably have picked the 10-magnet, stronger hold version.
Now, here’s where the magic happens – application. And trust me, I’m no lash guru! I’ve had my fair share of tussles with lash glue, but these magnetic wonders were a breeze to pop on. You place three layers of liner on your lids…and while it does take some time to dry in between…I’m much better at applying liner than glue + lash directly onto my eyelid. Plus, as the lashes adhered perfectly to the magnetic eyeliner, I felt a rush of accomplishment. Victory dance, amirite?!
Now, brace yourselves for the not-so-secret secret: that eyeliner game! I feel like that stuff has to be patented…right? I could go down a legal rabbit hole so let’s not get distracted. This magnetic eyeliner meant serious business. Removal did require a bit of elbow grease, but a few moments of scrubbing, and voilà! A clean canvas, ready for bed. Yes, I was in bed by 11:30pm.
But wait, there’s a sustainability cherry on top! These lovelies are not just a one-time fling. Eylure Magnetic Lashes proudly flaunt their reusable nature, offering some sustainable glamour in a sea of plastic, glue, and one-use wonders. With proper care, these beauties can be used 4-5 times.
