I announced my pregnancy last month and wow, has it been a whirlwind already! Basically, parenthood = preparations. As expecting parents, my husband and have been super eager to dive into the world of baby gear, nursery essentials, and all things parenthood-related since our shopping has all been online thus far. After stumbling upon the Babylist showroom in Beverly Hills – we were so happy! A haven for soon-to-be parents like us.
Nestled in the heart of Beverly Hills, the Babylist showroom is quite literally a future mama’s dream come true, IRL. It is a complete immersive registry experience. We have our online registry with Babylist already but we wanted to check out everything in person! So, we dipped in for their Registry Weekend where they had workshops, demos, and special treats galore! With two full floors brimming with everything one could possibly need for their little one, we knew we were in for a treat. I also brought my mom and dad, since this is their first grandbaby.
Upon stepping inside, we were greeted with warm smiles and a palpable sense of excitement. The ambiance was inviting, and the array of baby products on display was nothing short of impressive. From strollers to nursery décor, the showroom boasted a comprehensive selection that catered to every aspect of parenthood.
One of the highlights of our visit was the opportunity to test drive the best selection of strollers. With demos aplenty, we were able to navigate through the maze of options and configurations, finding (what we hope is!) the perfect fit for our lifestyle and preferences. We’re super excited to get our hands on a Nuna. The hands-on experience allowed us to make informed decisions, ensuring that we chose the right set of wheels for our little one, and for us! We’re a tall couple at 6’4″ and 5’10”.
Another standout feature of the showroom was the 360 camera (I’ve never done one before!), which offered a fun break from all of the new things we’ll need as parents. As we posed for snapshots, it was crazy to think that all of our future memories we would create would be with our growing family.
But perhaps what truly stole our hearts were the charming activations scattered throughout the showroom. From gumball machines personalized with baby names to an arcade claw game reminiscent of childhood days, every corner offered a moment of whimsy and delight. We found ourselves lost in a sea of nostalgia.
Of course, no visit to the Babylist showroom would be complete without exploring the nursery section. As we tried out different nursery chairs and envisioned late-night feedings and sweet yet probably exhausted moments with our little one, I felt a wave of anticipation wash over me. The showroom had succeeded in bringing our parenthood dreams to life, offering a glimpse into the beautiful journey that lay ahead.
The Babylist showroom really exceeded our expectations in every way, providing us with much needed confirmation of some of the items we were unclear on. We left with a newfound sense of readiness to embrace parenthood in all its glory.
